Devoid

Tuesday, August 22, 2006:

I feel as if I take one more step into this darkness
I will fall into it
So I stand frozen in my tracks
Unable to go back
And unable to find the way out
My hand reaches out into the black
But when it returns there is nothing in it
At least nothing that wasn't there before
For in this darkness, there is nothing to grasp
And no light to guide the nonexistent path
Get me the hell out of here
